UAE NATIONALS DO NOT NEED A VISA FOR ENTRY TO THE PHILIPPINES WHEN STAY IS 30 DAYS OR LESS.

Nationals from countries listed below who are traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination and their passports valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay. However, Immigration Officers at ports of entry may exercise their discretion to admit holders of passports valid for at least sixty (60) days beyond the intended period of stay.

*The following are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding fifty-nine (59) days:

  1. Holders of Brazil passports; and
  2. Holders of Israel passports

*The following are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding seven (7) days: 

  1. Holders of Hong Kong Special Administrative (SAR) passports
  2. Holders of British National Overseas (BNO) passports
  3. Holders of Portuguese Passports issued in Macao
  4. Holders of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) passports

Important Note:

Nationals who are subjects of deportation/blacklist orders of the Department and the Bureau of Immigration shall not be admitted to the Philippines. Further inquiries may be addressed to the Visa Division (Telephone numbers: 834-4854, 834-3707, and 834-4810), Department of Foreign Affairs, 2330 Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City or to any Philippine Embassy or Consulate abroad. 

GENERAL VISA APPLICATION POLICIES

  • All visa applications are subject to evaluation and approval by the Visa Officer.
  • Other documents/papers may also be required by the Visa Officer in support of the visa application.
  • Submission of the basic and additional requirements requested by the consular officer is not an assurance that a visa will be granted.
  • A Philippine visa does not guarantee entry into the Philippines. A Philippine Visa is an endorsement made on a travel document by a consular officer at a Philippine Embassy or Consulate abroad denoting that the visa application has been properly examined and that the bearer is permitted to proceed to the Philippines and request permission from the Philippine Immigration authorities at the ports of entries to enter the country. The visa thus issued is not a guarantee that the holder will be automatically admitted into the country, because the admission of foreign nationals into the Philippines is a function of the immigration authorities at the port of entry.
  • Telephone or email inquiries on the status of a visa application will not be entertained by the consular office. Information on any visa application and its status are held in strict confidence. The information on the status and/or result of a visa application will be given only to the applicant or the authorized representative on the day indicated on the receipt.
  • Applicants for temporary visitor's visa should normally apply at the Philippine Embassy or Consulate that has jurisdiction over their place of residence. While some visa applicants may apply at any Philippine Embassy or Consulate abroad, others are only allowed to apply his/her visa at the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in his country of origin or legal residence.

REQUIREMENTS

Visa processing takes, at least, 10 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) for first time applicants and, at least6 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) for non- first time applicants.

Please be informed that the Philippines Consulate General – Dubai has not allowed any agency to process and collect any fees for visa applications for the Philippines. All applications must be submitted personally at the Philippine Consulate General- Dubai. Therefore any transaction with such agency will not be honored.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Personal appearance of applicant.
  • Accomplished computerized/typewritten visa application forms (two copies).
  • Two (2) recent passport ID photos taken within 6 months of application.
  • Machine Readable Passport with validity of at least 6 months from intended date of departure from the Philippines.
  • Two (2) copies of the applicant’s passport data page.
  • Photocopy of UAE residence visa (duly translated in English by legal translator if in Arabic). NOTE: UAE residence visa must be valid beyond the date of departure from the Philippines.
  • Letter of Guarantee/No Objection from employer (on company letterhead) stating the following: (a) position and/or designation of the applicant; (b) Inclusive period of employment of applicant with the employer; and (c) monthly salary.

NOTE:  If applicant is a business proprietor or partner, present original and submit a copy with English translation of the trade license and proprietor or partner in the business entity indicated in the visa application form;

  • Proof of Financial Capacity for international travel such as bank statements, salary certificate, etc.
  • Flight booking
  • Hotel booking or invitation letter from Philippine sponsor/contact person or company with a copy of the sponsor’s passport or any identification card/document.
  • Any other requirements or documents requested by the Visa Officer.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • If applicant is travelling for recruitment purposespresent original and submit photocopy of the Job Order and SPA verified/attested by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in the UAE and the Philippine Consulate General.
  • If applicant is travelling for medical treatment, submit medical certificate attested by the UAE Ministry of Health and a letter of acceptance from Physician or Medical Institution in the Philippines.
  • If applicant is married to a Filipino Citizen,  submit photocopy of the marriage contract (if married in the Philippines) or Report of Marriage (if married outside the Philippines) with a copy of the spouse’s passport/ID; Note: Please bring the original document for presentation and comparison.
  • If applicant is (a) a minor and (b) if travelling without parents or legal guardian. 
    • Copy of the Birth certificate (in English) and passport copies or IDs of parents or guardians.
    • Sworn statement/Affidavit from parents or legal guardian guaranteeing financial support for the travel and stay of the applicant in the Philippines. This guarantee must be supported by documents certifying the financial capacity of the parent or guardian such as an employment/salary certificate or bank statement.
