The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai informs all registered overseas voters (OV) with active registration status in any other country that they may be allowed to vote in the polling centers here in Dubai for the 2022 National and Local Elections.

This is pursuant to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) approved Minute Resolution 22-0248 on the “Guidelines for Allowing Qualified Overseas Registered Voters to Vote in Another Post with Personal AES/Manual Modes of Voting for the 09 May 2022 National and Local Elections.”

To qualify:

1. The voter’s name must appear in the Certified List of Overseas Voters (CLOV) for  National Elections in 2022 in the Embassy/Consulate where the voter registered.

2. The voter must accomplish the “Manifestation of Intent to Vote in Another Post” Form (Download here: https://tinyurl.com/MIVAPDubaiPCG )

3. Submit MIVAP together with a clear copy of valid Passport or any competent proof of identity (ex. Emirates ID or any other PH gov’t issued ID)

All requests received will be endorsed to COMELEC and will require approval before being allowed to vote. Those with active registration will be issued an authority to vote while those who are not registered or have deactivated registration will not be allowed to vote.

Applicants will be notified of the approval or disapproval of their application via e-mail.
