Extended Accreditation of poll watchers, media, election observers, and civil society partners or volunteers for 2022 National and Local Elections

The public is informed that in the interest of transparency, the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, through instruction from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), will continue to accept accreditation requests from Poll Watchers, Media Entities, and Election Observers, and Civil Society Partners or Volunteers for Overseas Voting as of 16 April 2022.

Poll Watchers, Media Entities, and Election Observers are to be guided by the COMELEC Resolution No. 10776 which may be viewed here: https://tinyurl.com/Reso10776DubaiPCG

Below are the requirements for accreditation:

  1. Accomplished COMELEC Accreditation Application Form which may be downloaded via this link: https://tinyurl.com/AccredFormDubaiPCG
  2. Two (2) photographs taken in the last six (6) months measuring 2 inches by 2 inches or 5 cm. by 5 cm;
  3. Photocopy of a valid ID card with photo (e.g. passport, driver’s license)
  4. Endorsement from the applicant’s media company, non-government organization, or civil society group.

All applications for accreditation will be evaluated according to the qualifications listed under COMELEC Resolution No. 10750, Resolution No. 10751, and Resolution No. 10776. Approved applications will be notified via e-mail and will be provided official IDs that may be used during the course of the overseas voting at the polling centers of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai.
