The Consulate General of the Philippines in Dubai and N. Emirates is pleased with the very satisfactory level of March 2013 visa applications which stands at January 2013 level.

The Consulate General earlier reported a 17% and 23% increases in the monthly visa issuance for January and February 2013 compared to the 2012 period.

To start this year’s active campaign, eleven (11) leading Tour Operators based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and one (1) representative from Emirates Airlines are headed to Manila, Bohol, Cebu, Boracay and Clark this 3-10 April 2013 for a familiarization trip supported by Emirates Airlines. This includes business meetings to facilitate discussion between KSA-based agents and their counterparts in PH.

In 2012, four (4) familiarization trips were concluded.
