The PCG promises to continue exerting all efforts to secure as many new registrants as possible before the set deadline of 31 October 2012. To do this, the Consulate General shall remain open for OAV registration on Fridays (5, 12, and 19) and Saturdays (13, and 20) from 9am-4pm of October to accommodate those who could not make it on weekdays. Moreover, a team shall be made available to attend to specially organized registration activities from far flung areas.
This 5 October, field registration shall be made available to at least 150 Filipino nationals working in Hilton Jumeirah Resort, Hilton Residence and Hilton Creek. This is made possible through the efforts of the Filipino workers themselves who organized the activity in coordination with their management.
Matilyn Bagunu, FilCom Dubai and N. Emirates President, committed to support the registration process by encouraging the different FilCom member organizations to register on weekends.
All organizations, accredited or not, and all Filipino nationals are also enjoined to participate in the registration drive for the 2013 elections.
