03 March 2019, Dubai, UAE - The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and Northern Emirates opened its doors for a Special Consular Outreach for Filipinos based in the Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah (RAK) on 01 March 2019.
The Consulate General conducts monthly consular missions for Filipinos residing in Ras Al Khaimah, which is more than 100 km away from Dubai, so they avail of consular services such as the renewal of their passports and notarization of their legal documents, e.g. special power of attorney, affidavits.
Aside from passport and notarial services, applicants were also able to avail themselves of the services of attached agencies such as POLO, OWWA, SSS, and Pag-IBIG.
The team provided 718 services during the special consular day, broken down as follows:
