27 August 2021, Dubai, UAE – The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and Northern Emirates conducted a Special Consular Outreach for Filipinos based in the emirates of Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, and Sharjah on 27 August 2021.
The Consulate General conducts regular consular missions for Filipinos residing in the said emirates to allow them to avail of consular services such as renewal of their passports and notarization of their legal documents, (e.g. special power of attorney, affidavits) on a weekend.
Aside from passport and notarial services, applicants were also able to avail themselves of the services of attached agencies such as POLO, OWWA, SSS, and Pag-IBIG.
The team provided 315 services during the special consular day, broken down as follows:
