DUBAI PCG CONDUCTS FINAL SPECIAL CONSULAR DAY FOR THE YEAR
07 November 2023, Dubai, UAE – Almost 500 Overseas Filipinos (OFs) from Dubai and the Northern Emirates availed the services of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Migrant Workers Office – Dubai (MWO-Dubai) during the final installment of the special consular day for the year held on 04 November 2023.
For the year 2023, a total of 2,169 OFs participated in the special consular days organized by the Consulate and MWO Dubai wherein consular services, such as the renewal of their passports and notarization of their legal documents (e.g. special power of attorney, affidavits, etc.) were made available for them on a weekend. Aside from passport and notarial services, applicants were also able to avail themselves of the services of attached agencies such as MWO, Overseas Workers Welfare Association (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS), and Pag-IBIG. The applicants were also able to register as Overseas Voters for the 2025 National Elections.
The OFs expressed their gratitude to the Consulate for the special consular day.

Ms. Grace Cauyan-Macatlang adds, “Thank you po for this day. Naayos namin ang need namin maayos. Same day collection pa!”

The special consular day is a mission conducted by the Consulate to make consular services and the services of its attached agencies available for Overseas Filipinos on a weekend to accommodate those who are unable to excuse themselves from work during the regular business days. OFs in Dubai and the Northern Emirates are invited to join the next special consular days in the next year.
