03 August 2015, Dubai, UAE. The Consulate General hosted the first ever Women and Public Diplomacy Seminar under its 2015 Gender and Development agenda attended by the female staff, spouses and adolescent children of the Consulate, in cooperation with selected prominent resource speakers from the Filipino community in Dubai.

The seminar included modules on personality development tailor fit for the female diplomatic spouses and children, formal etiquette/grooming and general decorum delivered by Ms. Josie Conlu Romulo and Carla Fuentes.

Ms Romulo is a veteran Filipina ramp model and former consultant of the local finishing school Cora Doloroso while Ms. Fuentes is a prominent fashion make-up artist, both based in Dubai.
