17 May 2016, Dubai, UAE.  Kohl Industries carried the country's banner in the 2016 edition of the Beauty World Middle East Expo, one of the biggest beauty and personal care trade events in the Middle East in its 3-day run at the WTC Hall. 

Kohl-Industries is a major distributor of sanitizers such as branded alcohol products (Doctor J) for prominent private tertiary hospitals in the Philippines such as The Medical City, hotel toiletries for five star hotels including Dusit Thani Makati, and personal care line/cologne products (Joie cologne) carried by local retailers such as Watsons of the SM malls.

Commercial Attaché Eric Elnar of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center-Dubai and Consul Ferdinand Flores of the Dubai PCG immediately provided referral assistance to Mr. Budu Atilano, VP of Kohl Industries, who led the Kohl marketing team in Dubai.  During the expo, Kohl received several business inquiries from interested distributors apart from the two major UAE-based retailers which showed interest to carry Kohl cosmetic product lines in its network of stores, primarily catering to the expatriate market including the Filipino community.
