30 April 2017, Dubai, UAE. Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, Constancio R. Vingno, Jr., Philippine Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Paul Raymund Cortes, DOT Undersecretary Benito Bengzon, Davao del Sur Representative Mercedes Cagas, and officials of the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates led the Opening of the Philippine Pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market on 24 April 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The Arabian Travel Market 2017, held from 24-27 April 2017, drew the participation of a delegation from the Philippine comprised of Department of Tourism officials; Renee Salud and his models and beauty titlists who showcased the Renee Salud’s couture collections; Asia’s Got Talent Finalist,  beatboxer, Neil Llanes; and some 30 hotel and travel agencies in the country.

The Philippines has always participated in the ATM, the largest travel exhibit in the Middle East and Africa, wherein over 2800 tour services and various destinations showcase their products to the over 26,000 buyers and travel trade visitors attend. END
