15 June 2017, Dubai, U.A.E. Following the celebration of the 119^th Proclamation of Philippine Independence, the Consulate held its 2^nd episode of the History Hour entitled “” on 13 June 2017 at the Philippine Consulate.

The 2^nd episode highlighted the celebration of our country’s independence; historical facts and sacrifices of our forefathers before we attained our independence. “Let us be ambassadors of our beautiful country by spreading good deeds, appreciating and respecting the laws of the country that is hosting us, and promote the rich heritage of our motherland” as quoted by Ms. Jennifer Gonzales, HR Director, UIPS.

The episode finale is a synthesis about Philippine Independence; realization that we are able to learn the sufferings of our ancestors; and to value our independence that we are now experiencing.
