09 July 2017, Dubai, U.A.E. Philippine Consul General to Dubai Paul Raymund Cortes led the Graduation Ceremonies of the 1st batch of the Philippine Business School – De La Salle University Masterclass on Business and Strategic Management. The batch of 40 Overseas Filipinos, the first of the PBS-DLSU partnership, will go on to the 2nd Masterclass en route to a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Consul General Cortes challenged the graduates to use their academic degrees not simply to find better employment and economic opportunities but more especially to partner with government and other members of civil society to improve the lives and well-being of humanity starting with the Filipino community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. He stressed the importance of putting people first before profit.

This is DLSU’s first partnership towards conferring MBA degrees to Overseas Filipinos. Candidates must complete a total of 12 Masterclasses to be eligible. END
