20 October 2017, Dubai, UAE – The Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) Section of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai once again opened its doors on a weekend to provide assistance to overseas Filipinos from across the UAE who are facing legal and immigration matters.

Some 50 Overseas Filipinos sought the Consulate’s assistance on various legal and immigration related cases. The Consulate schedules special ATN outreach missions at least one weekend a month in cooperation with various Filipino organizations and groups to attend to the needs of those Filipinos who are not able to seek the Consulate’s services during its regular working hours.

In addition, the Consulate also schedules special weekend operations to provide passport services in an effort to reduce the backlog in its appointment system. END
