09 August 2018, Dubai, UAE – The ASEAN Missions in Dubai - Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore - hosted a reception on 08 August 2018 at the residence of the Philippine Consul General to commemorate the 51st Foundation Anniversary of ASEAN. Over 150 ASEAN nationals particpated in the event, a networking of ASEAN business and community leaders.
Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes expressed appreciation to all those who participated in the ASEAN event which is hoped to further strengthen the bond between all ASEAN nationals in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Consul General Pit Loh of Singapore also noted the forthcoming ASEAN Sharjah Business Roundtable scheduled on 20 Septmeber 2019, held in cooperation with Shurooq, Sharjah’s Investment Forum.
ASEAN events in Dubai are coordinated very closely between and among the ASEAN Missions in Dubai and their respective business councils. END
