Dubai, UAE, 15 July 2018 — The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai conducted a consular outreach in the northern emirate of Fujairah last Friday, 13 July 2018, at Concorde Hotel.

The Consular Outreach team processed 236 passport renewal applications and amendments, and 60 other consular services such as civil registration, authentication, notarization and certification of documents.

There were also 203 overseas Filipino workers who applied for, certified, reactivated or transferred their Overseas Voter’s registration.

Other agencies were also present to provide services to the Filipino community in Fujairah, including the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Overseas Filipino Welfare Administrative (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Representative Office, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Landbank.

The Consulate organizes regular consular outreach in Fujairah to service the needs of more than 10,000 Filipinos residing in the emirate.  END
