09 October 2018, Dubai, U.A.E. – Philippine Consul General Paul Raymund P. Cortes was Special Guest and Panelist at The Philippine Economic Outlook - 2018/19 Forum, an event organized by the IQI Group, on 4 October 2018 which was attended by around 150 leaders and members of the Filipino community and the local business community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Mr. Shan Saeed, IQI Global Chief Economist based in Malaysia, shared his views on factors affecting economic growth; gobal investor’s radar; infra-structure investment; productivity; and his analysis on economic future of the Philippines.

Consul General Cortes also stressed the need for a strong and heightened partnership between the Government and the citizenry in addressing the challenges facing the global economy today. He also emphasized the importance of a highly educated workforce in creating an innovative and productive society. END
