03 January 2019, Dubai, UAE --- The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates together with Front Row Filmed Entertainment held the Red Carpet Premier of the film Aurora at the Dubai Mall Platinum Series Cinemas on 2 Jan 2019. The premiere is the first activity of the Philippine Consulate’s Cultural Diplomacy Program for 2019, aimed at spreading awareness of Philippine culture and heritage, particularly through film, to other ethnicities in the UAE.

Some 100 diplomats, business leaders of Dubai, and members of the UAE press attended the event, the first time any Filipino film had such a premiere in Dubai participated in by the diplomatic and consular corps. The film was well received by the audience. Other members of the Dubai’s media were also invited to the premiere.
