In order for the Philippine Consulate to comply with the Dubai Municipality Guidelines and Protocol for Reopening of Establishments issued on 23 April 2020, particularly measures on social distancing, we are now back at our normal office hours, SUNDAY-THURSDAY, 8AM-5PM. Services by APPOINTMENT.

SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

Marriage at the Consulate

ONLY Filipino citizens (both parties) can be married at the Consulate General.

The Philippine Consulate General – Dubai has jurisdiction over Dubai and all Northern Emirates.

    1. Accomplished online Marriage Application form/Marriage Banns/Announcement form
    2. Original and six(6) copies of the following:
      • English Birth Certificate duly authenticated by UAE Ministry of Health(MOH) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), OR English translated Birth Certificate duly stamped by the UAE Ministry Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
      • Passport of each parent (data page and page 3)
      • Original DFA authenticated (Apostille) PSA Marriage Certificate Security paper, if married in the Philippines OR Original DFA authenticated (Apostille) PSA Report of Marriage, if married abroad.
    3. Personal appearance of Filipino parent(s) and infant/child.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS  

  • Please be reminded that applicant/s must personally sign the document/s in front of the officials of the Consulate General.
  • Any spurious or tampered documents submitted for Notarization/ Attestation are subject to outright seizure upon proper determination by the Consular Officer. Holder of said documents, as well as fixers will be prosecuted. Payment for the document found to be spurious will be forfeited.

    For ROB

    To those whose marriage will be solemnized at the Consulate, the marriage contract and other relevant documents will be released immediately after the wedding ceremony.

    8:00am – 5:00pm (Passport Releasing Unit)

    For ROD

    ROD is released as soon as the applicant completes the requirements and pays the appropriate fees.
