The Visa Section is open daily from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. except on weekends and declared holidays (both Philippine and UAE public holidays).
EFFECTIVE 7 SEPTEMBER 2014
Procedure to apply for a business or tourist (non-immigrant) visa:
1. Get a number token at the entrance and then proceed to the Visa Section.
2. Submit TWO (2) accomplished Non-Immigrant Visa forms along with the requirements stated below.
All applications must be computerized / typewritten when submitted.
Note: Application form is typed directly on the Consulate’s website at
www.dubaipcg.dfa.gov.ph, and then printed out.
3. Upon approval of application, pay corresponding visa fees of AED 260 at the Cashier.
Note: Visa processing takes, at least, 10 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) for first time applicants and, at least, 6 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) for non- first time applicants.
4. Collect / pick up passport with the visa on it on the date and time of release indicated in your receipt.
REQUIREMENTS:
a) Personal appearance of applicant.
b) Accomplished typewritten visa application forms (two copies).
c) Two (2) recent passport ID photos taken within 6 months of application.
d) Passport with validity of at least 6 months from intended date of departure from the Philippines.
e) Two (2) copies of the applicant’s passport data page.
f) Photocopy of UAE residence visa (duly translated in English by legal translator if in Arabic). NOTE: UAE residence visa must be valid beyond the date of departure from the Philippines.
g) Letter of Guarantee/No Objection from employer (on company letterhead) stating the following: (a) position and/or designation of the applicant; (b) Inclusive period of employment of applicant with the employer; and (c) monthly salary.
NOTE: If applicant is a business proprietor or partner, present original and submit a copy with English translation of the trade license and proprietor or partner in the business entity indicated in the visa application form;
h) Proof of Financial Capacity for international travel such as bank statements, salary certificate, etc.
i) Flight booking
j) Hotel booking or invitation letter from Philippine sponsor/contact person or company with a copy of the sponsor’s passport or any identification card/document.
k) Any other requirements or documents requested by the Visa Officer.
Additional Requirements:
- If applicant is travelling for recruitment purposes, present original and submit photocopy of the Job Order and SPA verified/attested by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in the UAE and the Philippine Consulate General.
- If applicant is travelling for medical treatment, submit medical certificate attested by the UAE Ministry of Health and a letter of acceptance from Physician or Medical Institution in the Philippines.
- If applicant is married to a Filipino Citizen, submit photocopy of the marriage contract (if married in the Philippines) or Report of Marriage (if married outside the Philippines) with a copy of the spouse’s passport/ID; Note: Please bring the original document for presentation and comparison.
- If applicant is (a) a minor and (b) if travelling without parents or legal guardian.
(a) Copy of the Birth certificate (in English) and passport copies or IDs of parents or guardians.
(b) Sworn statement/Affidavit from parents or legal guardian guaranteeing financial support for the travel and stay of the applicant in the Philippines. This guarantee must be supported by documents certifying the financial capacity of the parent or guardian such as an employment/salary certificate or bank statement.
