New Requirements for Affidavit of Support and Guarantee (ASG) effective

An applicant can execute an affidavit to sponsor a relative only within the 1st and 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity:

Please be reminded that applicant/s must personally sign the document/s in front of the officials of the Consulate General.
Any spurious or tampered documents submitted for Notarization/ Attestation are subject to outright seizure upon proper determination by the Consular Officer. Holder of said documents, as well as fixers will be prosecuted. Payment for the document found to be spurious will be forfeited.
NBI Clearance
Requirements:
- Photocopy of completed NBI Form (Form available at the Consulate General).
- Copy of applicant’s passport
Procedures for the Issuance of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance Certificate
- Secure NBI Fingerprint card (NBI Form No.5) at the Consulate General.
- Fill out the personal data called for on both sides of the card truthfully and legibly.
- Request the assistance/endorsement of the consulate general/Police Agency to have your fingerprints impressed (Rolled Impression) on the appropriate spaces. The person who impressed your fingerprints should sign his name and state his official designation on the space provided for in the card.
- For married women, the order of writing is as follows: Your maiden surname (family or surname of your father), Your first name or given name, Your maternal surname (maiden surname of your mother), Your husband’s surname or family name (space provided, No.2)
- Attach a latest copy of your 2” x 2” photograph (white background), taken within three (3) months before this application at the appropriate box in NBI Form No. 5.
General Procedures
- Fill out appropriate Application Form.
- Prepare two (2) sets of documents including attachments and passport copy.
- Proceed to Notary Window for processing.
- Pay appropriate fee at the Cashier (Must be paid in Dirhams only).
Processing Schedule : 4 working days
Fees: AED 100.00 per document and appliable Courier Fees.
NOTE:
- Once the NBI application form is signed and stamped by the Philippine Consulate General Dubai, the NBI application form must be submitted to the NBI main office in manila through an authorized representative.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 036 dated 15 June 2015 or the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) Revised Guidelines on Departure Formalities for International-Bound Passengers, only those with at least a monthly salary of AED 3,500 may sponsor family member up to the 4th degree of consanguinity or affinity (Up to first cousin only). Requirements: (Filipino Citizen as Guarantor)
For example: Applicant to sponsor first cousin. Applicant to present and provide copies of his/her birth certificate, birth/marriage certificate of his/her parents (whichever is available), birth certificate of his/her cousin, and birth/marriage certificate of his/her cousin’s parents (whichever is available). 7. Original and latest English Salary Certificate or Labor Employment Contract and copy. 8. Any other document(s) that will be requested by the processor. Note: The PH immigration strictly implements the departure formalities to Filipinos bound for international destinations as prescribed in M.C.036-2015. |
